Ultrasounds, also called sonograms or baby scans, are powerful diagnostic tools that use sound waves to create pictures of structures within the body. The way those waves bounce determine the images projected on an attached computer screen. Ultrasounds can be used to view the uterus and ovaries, as well as to monitor the growth and development of your baby. Novant Health Bradford Clinic OB/GYN offers ultrasound services in our office for both gynecologic and obstetric patients.
